Oh good, I thought I had gone crazy and ascribed you someone else's birds. I think I saw the little pied before it was obvious how big it's jacket was.

I love the tuxedos, they so pretty

We're down to 29. Still a couple of curly toes/walking on ankles. I'll give them a few days to see if they straighten out. I don't know if its genetics or just luck, but I don't really want to hang onto any gumby ones. Wanna keep it out of my gene pool!

I had two quail hatch and left them to dry in the incubator for 48 hours, I quickly opened it to remove them as they were nice and fluffy and being quite destructive.. when I opened I noticed one egg was pipping and now I'm afraid I've shrink wrapped it... While removing the other two I did place in a hot wet paper towel to keep humidity up. Did I shrink wrap my others??

if you waited that long after hatching and were as careful and quick as it seems you were, chances are that everyone will be ok. just keep and eye on the pipped one for progress until bedtime. (and keep us posted)
