➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

No matter how much time you give yourself to prepare for a wedding, it always gets there before you are ready. :lau:lau:lau

That is very true!! I am starting to feel like and realize that!! I can’t believe it’s only 6 weeks away. This year has flown by for me! Seemed like yesterday it was still forever away and now it’s so close and she’s already had the shower 2 weeks ago and already planning for mani pedis the day before and everything with all the gals and her and I are going dress shopping Sunday (for me obviously, not for her lol that’d be a little bit last minute. :lau ) and... gosh.... I’m not even the one getting married and it’s already stressful. :lau

Although.... if I get the qualies now then I can show them to my family and cousins and everyone (who haven’t been here in like 20 years. No not estranged lol we just usually go visit them) and impress everyone at my wide array of barnyard animals. :lau

Had to get it back on topic somehow! :lau

So far my collection only includes chickens, a cat, and some goldfish, but it COULD include quail!! :lau

Yes it could! You ought to buy a roll of wire anyhow, and Rabbit housing by Bob Bennett, and start cutting & bending just one or two pieces at a time when you have a few spare moments. You might not get a lot done, but every little bit is a bit you won’t have to do later.

For me, the prospect of just pulling some of the stakes from the last paddock (for my cattle) is manageable, while pulling them all and collecting them and reeling in the fence rope is too close to overwhelming on a hot day, let alone setting up the next paddock that won’t be needed for a few days. More often than not, I end up doing all of those things. (If I have time.) It’s just getting started that’s hard for me. Even if I don’t get much done though, I’m always so glad for what little I managed beforehand when the time comes that it MUST be done. I’m sure lazy. :lau I have to actually trick myself into getting a little work done. :idunno

You sound a lot like me. :lau

I have a real hard time actually starting anything lol once I start I’m usually fine but even then sometimes I quit but usually it’s just the getting started bit.

No birds like to have something 'looming' over them...to them your a predator....especially, gamebirds...buttons aren't gamebirds but still....doing things from the side rather than from the top is better to help keep them calm.
Cute little boogers :love and you can't tell gender by how active they are, both genders can be equally skittish.
