14 turkey eggs incubating. So over the moon excited. Not sure if they will be broad breasted bronze BBB or burbon red crosses. Our hen "Jenny" is Broad breasted bronze.
One week in, our first turkey eggs ever... 28 days of waiting is S00🥚🥚🥚 L0NG🦃

I candled the first 4, 2 definitely were progressing we had humidity issues with the incubator, not sure if it was a short amount of time or two days. Going to remain optimistic and hopeful. Trying not to handle them too much. Will candle on the 18th when we have to move some eggs and make some incubator switches.

Today the "incubator switch" happened as our chicken eggs went into lockdown. So now all the turkey eggs are in the 'good' incubator. And the chicken eggs are in the basic Styrofoam incubator for lockdown.
Sadly, only half of the turkey eggs seem to have been fertilized. So of the first 4 only two, and half of the second batch.
Looking forward to next week when they hatch.
