Hey,guys,we need a little help. We have a roo that few weeks back couldn't move one of his legs and couldn't stand and he was extremely skinny. We separated him from the rest because we thought it was Mereks. For 2 weeks we were giving him vitamins and doing massages every day. We deworm our chicken once in 6 months with Wazine. My husband was reading one day and found out that it only works for one type of worms so we got Valbazen. We dewormed everybody with both and after the dewormings the rooster got better and better. He was running outside with everyone he gained a lot of weight. So we decided to put him with the rest. Few days later he started folding his leg again. He didn't loose any weight,he's still eating and drinking regular. Can anyone give me a suggestion on what it might be? It doesn't look like it's broken or spread.

I would look at where he's roosting when he's with the others. How high is it? How much does he weigh? If he's a heavy breed, say around seven to ten pounds, he shouldn't be anywhere near a roost higher than a foot off the floor.

Check to see how much bedding is under the perch to cushion his dismount. If it's just a couple inches, perhaps he's hurting his feet and legs dismounting.

Last, have you actually looked at the bottoms of his feet? It doesn't require much bruising for a foot pad to develop bumblefoot.
