But I honestly didn't figure that one out until much, much later when I was trying to find that article about aluminum foil and broody hens.

Ever since, I always log in and look around to find the annual April Fool prank. I like to play along but not give it away. That's why I requested the name "Quicken Queen" . Wouldn't it be cool if Quickens really existed?!

Can't wait to see what BYC comes up with next year!

Hello Peeps, we've got some important and urgent news to share with all our members.

We recently learned that we have to do an important security server and database update. This MUST be completed by the end of the day.

The good news: this will make our community 2x more secure and will reduce our spammers and trolls by up to 72%!!

The unfortunate (or perhaps for others, fortunate) part of this update: We will require everyone to choose a NEW username. For security purposes the new username MUST be something that isn't currently in use.

We regret that this is necessary, but it is something we must do to improve the security of our amazing community!

So, please reply with what you'd like your new username to be. This is a first-come-first-serve process and will reward the peeps that are online, active, and see this message. Once you reply with the username you want, this will be the system-of-record that you requested it first, and we'll reserve it for you.

We know for some this will be difficult, and we ask for patience and understanding as we go through this necessary process. We will eventually, hopefully, be able to convert usernames back to their original ones if members so choose, but it may take some time.

All BYC rules and terms apply when picking new names. Let's have some fun with this since we have no other choice. Thanks for understanding.
