Brodee passed away today...RIP Ch. Davmoor Vision Keeper :(

I just got home to a message from my Borzoi's breeder/handler...Brodee just got done at the Eukanuba in California. I'm just in shock right now...I was supposed to pick him up from her in a few weeks...

This is what I got:

Hi Heather,

I am very sorry to have to tell you this but Brodee torsioned and died on the way back from California today. He was immediately taken to the emergency vets and they were doing surgery when his heart stopped and they couldn't get him back, I cant tell you how awful I feel and am so sorry. He had been fine and was fine last weekend at the Invitational. He won a Select dog on Friday and even though he didn't do anything at the Invitational, he showed really well. We will have him cremated and sent to us.

You can call me on my cell and again I am so very sorry.

OOh no, Heather! I'm so sorry. He was beautiful.
That stinkin bloat is my BIGGEST fear... I had my Saints stomach stapled..But thats no guarantee to stop it from happening.
It can happen to anyone at anytime.. thats what makes it so scary.
