Just all poultry layer feed with lots of peas, watermelon , greens and some bananas and some cheerios then the save a chick powder you and to their water... can I keep her in her coop until I extract it?

You could but if she is safe with the others might as well leave her with the rest until you start working on it. That will probably be less stressful for her.

Soaks with epsom salt and warm water. I use DMSO on my guys 3 times a week. With the dmso (at tractor Supply in the horse section) I just slathered it on their feet after the soaks....then they go straight to the clean pen for the night. The other nights that I don’t use the dmso I do soaks and then put clear iodine on the affected area. ***note*** you can NOT use the dmso and clear iodine together!!!

So I did the surgery today ( have done it before on a different duck) but I could not find the kernel at all! I cut as much as I could and squeezed and couldn't find it. Is it possible she just had an infection under the scab?

If nothing came out maybe no even infection. Since pus in poultry is thick I am thinking you'd see it. Now keep it as clean as you can till skin heals so she doesn't get bumble. lol

Maybe she just had a scab...

Could have been I have a few chicken hens with scabs no swelling or redness just scabs so I am just keeping an eye on them.
