It’s a good sign she’s not limping. @onaharley had a recent visit to the vets office with bumble. Didn’t the vet say she was impressed with the turmeric you were giving Ted?

Yep, great stuff for swelling (I learned this from Cayugajana and Miss Lydia). i sprinkling this on their food a couple times a week.

Yea I normally don't worry about them unless there's a large lump under them...it's an open wound now so maybe I'll just keep soaking it, put some prid on it and some ointment. Just wanting to get the infection out so she doesn't get a fever the ball is the size of a cherry I think.

My vet told me the Prid works best if you shake it (now bare with me because i understand what she told me but don't really know how to reexplain it...) so here it goes...

So because ducks use more energy then humans, this prid stuff needs to be shaken to be more effective. She told me to count to 10 while shaking the pride, repeat this 10 times.
I have yet to use it but i figured if i did, what would shaking it hurt!
