I think @Nifty-Chicken is the one running the show, and he's doing a great job. @MattW and @CarpCharacin are doing great jobs too!

I totally agree. @Nifty-Chicken Nifty (Rob) is the site owner and he is FABULOUS with not only the upkeep but the further development of the site, he really cares about our members and where BYC is going! If it weren't for Rob, we wouldn't all be here loving BYC!!!! Of course we can't forget our 2 techies James @CarpCharacin and Matt @MattW for keeping all the gears oiled here, the site would blow without their technical knowlege. Yay for BYC!

Hmm... you *might* be correct, but after digging around quite a bit (and I mean no disrespect) I'm pretty sure you're mistaken.

After thorough research here's what I've discovered:

The dudes you mentioned are pretty smart and do good work, but it seems the REAL people I should be thanking and acknowledging are:

1. The AMAZING moderators that keep things running smoothly. What an incredible group of level-headed and caring people!!
2. The "Project Managers" and volunteers that help so much "behind the scenes"
3. The fantastic members that "pay it forward" by helping other members in all kinds of ways... from sharing chicken-wisdom to welcoming brand new members!

All-around a pretty phenomenal community. I think I'll stick around for a while.

@CarpCharacin, @MattW & @Nifty-Chicken, HUGE thanks to this awesome update. I just wanted to express my gratitude for all the hard work you do for us obsessed chicken/animal people! The stuff I have used/seen so far I like very much. It makes things easy(like the photos and the using the phone emojis) I appreciate all the hard work that much have gone into this update! Again thank you! As well as a big thanks to all those in the background who help every single day keep the site moving as one.

Decided to check in today after a few weeks off and WOW was I in for a surprise!

I have to admit you are correct on many accounts as I did leave out a great number of people that deserve huge credit to making BYC the huge success it is! Your list of those that have had their hand in this, the Staff, the Project Managers and of course all the truly AMAZING members that have contributed their knowledge, their compassion and love for BYC, it's incredible! I mean where would we be without all our awesome members!!

HOWEVER...I just have counter on your statement somewhat, I believe in giving credit where credit is due. And that maybe the real "Star" in this, our "Hero" is Rob, @Nifty-Chicken !! Without his insight into seeing where this site could go 14 yrs ago, his dedication and hard work in keeping it all on track and most of all his love and desire to create a community type feeling where thousands of like minded poultry enthusiasts could come together as one, well Rob made this dream come true! I don't believe there is anyone else in the world that could fill his shoes and have made BYC all that it has become today. There isn't another site out there like BYC, this place is truly amazing!!

So if you really want to know who to thank for this incredible website that is BYC, its Rob. So go do that now!
