Chick has stopped zipping?

I know, this egg was small and couldn’t really tell which end was what, but I had them delivered and they were already placed. But there was little diffference ..

They little guy is really active and chirping loudly,. Rattling the egg.. I hope he ok

Kind of already prepared myself to.. just when ? He’s gone quiet now, probably resting he hasn’t stopped all day. Can see him pecking at is hole with no progress.

I don't know why there seems to be such a difference between coconut oil, vegetable oil, or olive oil... to me oil is oil. But maybe there is something I don't know?

Did you use any calibrated instruments? That's a LOT of condensation on the window.

I would NOT try to assist right now... and think the possibility of not pipping into the air cell and instead externally could make a lot of sense... which might mean the attempt to assist could just release it from it shell too early cause more issue. I especially would not help out an early hatcher... but I know we all have different thoughts, and I while I am here to hopefully help, I also cannot deny the learning that never ends for me! :pop

@WVduckchick, I always appreciate your thought and advice.

What’s worst is that he responds every time you speak to it ...
Quit speaking and let it rest, maybe? To me that chick hasn't really started ZIPPING yet... the other chicks will be making clicks and peeps communicating with it. :fl:jumpy:jumpy
