Cockeral or pullet

Hello,

I posted this already And didn't get many responses but please let me know what you think. I need to make a decision on keeping or not. Is this a cockeral or pullet. It is almost 7 weeks old I did take pics to compare to my female Rhode island red.

I would say pullet.

Looks like a cockerel to me. The comb isn't super red but there are dark red patches on the wings, which can indicate male.
This one's tricky. Only time will tell for sure

I've heard of the patch thing on the wing and do you think that is really a sure sign. In you experience have you had any cockeral with that kind of coloring on wings?

It's a pretty sure sign. Chickens will often have gender specific coloring like that.

His tail also looks rooster-ish.

I also thought with easter eager you can tell with the tail. And I'm just so confused people say male and female but not sure does the color look the Same as the Rhode island red? Or is it just me? Lol
