Could I « Rent A Chicken » At a Hatchery Nearby?

- Keeping of domestic animals and fowl.

Would a chicken count as a pet if not used for egg or meat production and specifically for companionship?

city ordinance would not consider a chicken a pet, sorry, unless you could get a Dr. to write a perscription for therapy chicken.
you might get a way with some fancy bantams if you caged them and kept them in the house
