Hope everyone is hooking along fine this morning.

Unfortuneantly (sp?) we had a couple of ladies that needed to put more attention to items at home so they have bowed out for now. No Chicks Here and eastTnchick we hope every thing goes well for you and yours. And please jump back in when you have more relaxed days ahead. We understand sometime things just pile up on you and ya need to catch it before there is an avalanch (sp?).

We have had a new friend join our group arabookworm I hope you enjoy our crazyness here. We have a good time.

Well we are only making 3 afghans ............ so far........
the 1st 2 will be this pattern posted now and the next 1 will be mix and match of what ever you may have in baby yarn and what ever pattern you like that is 4 inch

I still havent gotten the first set of colors , but I have been working with the colors I do have. So I havent been totally slacking off. Have at least 10 white ones, (diff sizes ack!) and one purple, one pink. BTW, do we have any girls that are expected to hatch? or are they all boys that we know of?

I don't know what I am doing wrong grrrrr but I will try to do the squares intended for the third blankie as I cannot get my squares small enough. I know it is something I am doing so I will keep at it and see what happens!! I bought hooks in size G, H, and J and neither the smaller two will give me under 3 3/4 inches so I know it something I am doing. Sometimes you just need someone to watch you and say, "Oh, wait, there is your mistake"!!

I tried that square with my regular hook I use, an I, and it just makes it huge looking to me. Think I'll try to stay with my lil guy, E for this. lol
After using my tiny hook, I cant seem to get used to the size stitch my other hook makes, makes me feel like I'm making something for a giant. lol

Good grief, I am not used to making something so small. I think I figured it out but haven't tried it yet. It says to chain three and I was chaining four and then I always start right in the small loop that we have created instead of in the chain itself. I will try it out later, right now I am busy with the housework.

My smallest hook is the G.

, I'm impressed. The smallest hook I have is an F that I'm using on a babyghan for a friend. It's hard for me to use that one, and I have a foam grip on it. I can't imagine using anything smaller! Guess I'm getting old, but I really like using the J & K hooks better.

Caydence talked me into getting the tiny hook. After her pestering for about a month, I used it. I like the way it feels like I can get the yarn tighter without pulling it so tight that the hook wont move.
Guess that means I'm an uptight personality? lol
Do you think it will make it a problem for you to join them LC? If you dont think it will work for you, I can change and make them with a bigger hook? Let me know what you need me to do, k?
