Picked tons of greens today and am now wondering where I am going to put them all. A girl at work let me pick all I wanted cuz she had grown more than she could handle. God is good like that!

I have 2 different pots on the stove now full of greens. One smaller one cooking some for supper tonight and one really big one for blanching the rest of them. Guess I will have to put the rest in the fridge and finish them tomorrow after work.

My daughter and husband and my chickens like greens but me and my son..no thanks! I hope I can get around to some yard sales in the spring and find some fabric deals, sounds like you did hit the jackpot Jen!!

Wish I could say I've finished that crocheted table runner but I haven't touched it in weeks!!! I've been walking alot during my lunch break and healthy and thin has been more appealing than the crochet lately! Our weather has been sooooo awesome here lately too, cold in the mornings and short sleeved weather by lunch, very nice. I guess I'll work on it on the rainy days, lol! What's everyone else working on?

While I've been off these two weeks I've been driving a friend to her radiation treatments and decided to pick up some yarn and crochet needles. My taught me how when I was about 12, yeah like I remember that far back! Anyway... Wal Mart had a bunch of yarn and needles on sale so I bought several skeins and a bunch of needles and my mom is coaching me again. I'm working on some Christmas gifts and just started looking at this thread and seeing all the neat stuff everyone is doing. Wish me luck, I'll need it!

ETA: Geez all right,, HOOKS I bought HOOKS!!! My mom just smacked me in the back of the head!!

I haven't crocheted all summer.

I am getting the urge again. I need to get some gifts completed. I can't find the time anymore. I have to make time.
