I think this idiot is the owner/manager! Also it is obviously not an isolated incident. This person is greedy and just plain mean if you ask me!

Can you find another online forum and gang up with other people who have had similar issues and together report your experiences with a news team, or to a paper, or to a state office of business practices?

Thats what I would do. I would SO totally take these people out. Iam insanely vindictive like that....

I once bought a dress off ebay, supposidly hand made in india. Whatever. it was really crappy... it took me weeks and weeks to get it from PA (like 200 miles away, it shouldnt have taken 5 days) I had emailed the sellers REPEATEDLY asking when to expect it and whatever. no reply. i emailed them and asked how to return it, it was mis-sized and made wrong and acceptable for return by their own claim on the listing. No reply.

Emailed again.

no reply.

Told them I was going to go ahead and file a complaint with ebay and paypal.

They emailed me back and threatened me! Called me every name under the sun and gave me an address to return it to. So I did. No refund. Waited. no refund. After 3 months since the purchase I finally lodged a complain, to which ebay said they could do nothing, but DID go ahead and give them MY HOME PHONE NUMBER.

The lady called to threaten me on the phone! Of all the insane things ever!

Called me and told me to drop dead, and f that, and everything else imaginable. Called me a liar and to watch my back, that they had my address and phone number now.

I couldnt track them down for the life of me, i filed a report with the police, and with the telephone company, but it was no use. They disappeared from ebay and no one could do anything.

All that to say. Team up with other people, if it was a threatening email in anyway call the police with it. Get their address, get their names and numbers, and follow it through.

Take 'em down!

I read a comment on here saying that
RetroToys.com's domain was created using
GoDaddy.com

Well I found some interesting stuff about GoDaddy.com
I guess this company has bad customer practices too..

Here is a link to all the complaints about GoDaddy.com
I wonder if the owners of Godaddy is the same owners of RetroToys

I agree with cluckychick. Years ago we had a door to door salesman selling the satellite services that he called microwave antennas. He would never answer questions but to make a long story short,,,,,,,my DH signed papers without my knowledge and without doing extra homework on the contract. We got suckered but only lost a dollar. I called the State to find out how to proceed for a complaint, got it done without attorney fees and I was a winner in the end. Come find out a lot of people in my area filed a complaint with the State and they fined the company big time. Go for it girl!!

I'm sorry you had to deal with such jerks.

I tried to buy an underground dog system from a company online-mygoodpuppy.com, and used one of their featured discounts at checkout to get some $$ off my order. The system checked me out, but I got an email from their "customer service" telling me that the order would be cancelled unless I paid the extra $$. I politely wrote back telling them that I used their discount that was listed, and got a VERY rude, accusatory email calling me a P-word and telling me I was some kind of scam artist.

I emailed all the companies that licenced them to sell their products and forwarded the emails to them. I was so irate, like you-- I cant believe that people do business this way. These retrotoys people really seem to take the cake though.
