Darcy eggs!!!! Hatch-a-long

I finally got enough eggs for my incubator so I'm starting a hatch along! I have put in some of the eggs that will hopefully hatch out as something like Darcy! That way I can get him some hens.

I also got 18 quail eggs, if which only 1 broke. They are an assorted mix of Pharaoh Texas A&Ms Italians and Grau fee's. I also got one extra rare color! However I saw this on the side of one of the eggs! Is this okay? Are all the quail eggs bad?

I'm not an expert with quail, but I hatched some various quail eggs for my neighbor that she bought at a poultry swap. Some of them looked all spotty too, but they hatched.

Cool! How many hatches have you done for your neighbor? I might offer to hatch Cayuga duck eggs for one of their broody Muscovy hen! Their drake attacked them when they opened the door and flew right over him. It completely gone now.

So I checked them today and the temp was at 38.6 Celcius and the humidity was at 45% so I think they are all okay! Next Wednesday I will candle them and we will see what is growing! Here is a photo!

Do a little update the eggs are doing great and I plan on candling tonight! My humidity is still around 45-47 RH and the temp has been a stable 37.3 to 38.3

Here are some of the photos I took! They are developing nice! Although most of the quail eggs were not developing and I fertile.

The photos don't capture it well but I can see the black little eyes of the chick moving around and the veins forming all over the egg! They are very lively!

I'm sad to say that some of the eggs failed around day 5 and the rest are on day 14 or so. Here is a photo of one that quit.
