I can't tell from the video, were you able to get the whole membrane coated? In the video it looks like only a small bit was coated. The whole thing has to be coated to keep it from sticking to the chick.

I will do so. There is movement in the egg, it kept jerking when I put it on.

Yes, do make sure you get all the exposed internal membrane coated. Otherwise it will dry up and stick to the chick like glue.
