I have my fingers crossed that the feed store got in some day olds. They talked about having silkies coming in which would be fun to have.

It’s doing great! It’s so lively, my mom has been carrying it around like a baby since she got home. Our male bulldog is so curious about the peeping.

I have a question... not advice... but if the twins could be suffocating and could die would it be a bad idea to try to open the egg up and see if they can absorb the yolk from that point on? If they're not going to hatch on their own for sure would that be better than just leaving them in there?

Editing to clarify... I think my question is not open the egg but the membrane more... (???) could the chicks possibly still be alive?
