DS Assaulted At School!

Just today I watched a news video where some news crew was getting ready to interview a kid after school near the school grounds about the bullying problem at the school...when, while being recorded, some other much bigger kid ran up to him and attacked him, punching his head, I guess, and chasing him as the attacked kid started running back towards the school to try to get help.

The bullied kid had previously fought back one time after being beat up by bullies and the attacked kid was suspended for fighting.

My DS was suspended for 2 weeks "for his own protection from the attackers"

while his attackers remained in school.

I cannot imagine parents standing by and allowing their kids to be bullied. So this one was brazen enough to co it on camera, eh? Shouldn't be any problem finding him and getting some retribution, then.

Seriously, use your media... The omg-poor-little-girl that got nominated to homecoming court as a joke was ALL OVER the news, and honestly, that wasn't even bullying IMHO... This is a REAL case of bullying. I agree totally with the "document everything and use your local media." Also, social media is now more powerful than any news medium has ever been. Get this story in the hands of your local news, and onto Facebook, and watch what happens.

DS was really ticked off yesterday. Finally found out tonight what happened.
He and this other kid who he has never gotten along with got into an arguement.
Well this other kid, who is the son of my former co-worker who accosted me, sucker punched him in the side of his head and busted him in the eye and knocked him out. He was out for 15 minutes

I have called the superintendent and left a message. Next call is to law enforcement.

I am really ticked off!

AGH!!! I hate those kind of kids! I deal with it to much... Now im ticked off at that little punk! He needs a little or a lot of serious punishment!

i have been punished for self defense. The weak thing to do is stand and take it. Stand up for yourself and they wont often go back to bothering you. Telling the staff often doesnt help.

Finally heard back from the local police.
Was told by the officer that he was going to talk to the chief and said they were going to decide if they should press charges.
EXCUSE ME!
I should be the one making that decision NOT them!

Told him twice that yes I wanted charges filed.

Go to your state attorney's office now. File a complaint to press charges. Also contact your state representative, you need to take it to a higher level. If that goes nowhere, tell them you have no choice (BUT TO GET THE NEWS MEDIA INVOLVED.) Also tell your local law enforcement that you are going to the state attorney's office to file a complaint against them. Contact you state department of law enforcement for an investigation as to why your local law enforcement is not doing it's job.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Ok Update.
The kid got charged and had to appear in juvi court and got probation. Was told we could not charge him or his parents for the eye doctor bill.
