Some pics from the last few days. Got the footprint dug for my shed/coop foundation!

This tree had 4 of these yellow swallowtail butterflies in it at once!

Gave my month olds some look but don't touch time with their soon to be roommates. Think Vickie knows her kid is in there? She was very interested. The rest didn't seem to really care past a cursory glance.

They were much more interested in my landscaping booty!

Just found a baby under my broody! Her first one! Eight more eggs under her. It is going to be a long day at work! I will try to take pics tonight if I can get close. What an amazing process to witness!

The butterflies are beautiful. So is Vickie. I like the look on her face as she watching the new ones. You better watch out though. Those barred rocks like to go broody! She may be thinking I need to raise some of my own.

Just checked on the nest. Still just one baby. See what happens tonight. Couldn't get a pic cause I was wrangling velociraptors. Maybe tomorrow!
