Too bad you don't live closer. I have bags and bags of clothes left over from my first boy and people are still giving me clothes.

krcote, I am certainly with you on the countdown to Thursday!
You have your first ultrasound, and I have my first appointment, period!

What an exciting kind of day!

I felt like it took FOREVER to get to my first appointment! I was a little disapointed though, you finally get there and they ask a million and one questions and do nothing medical really. I didn't even get to meet a doctor, just a nurse. I wanted to jump up and down and say "Look at me! Poke me! I'm pregnant! Don't you need to do any fancy tests with pretty equipment or anything?!" No weight. No blood pressure. Not even a temp taken! I later headed over to the lab to get my blood taken but that was it! They did say "Congrats" a few times but I was definatly more excited than they were!
I am nervous about my ultrasound because I can't stand the fact that someone may tell me my perfect little baby isn't so perfect

Same thoughts running through my mind, for sure! I already have the 'uh-oh' thoughts of, 'what if something isn't completely right?' But I am sure your perfect little baby is going to be even more perfect than expected!

And doesn't that but the 'blah' factor in there - nothing cool? Nothing fancy? Just questions?

First appointments always take forever!! And are always a let down...

When I told one of my friends about the pregnancy, she was very excited until I told her that I hadn't had my first doctor's appointment yet. "Are you sure you're actually pregnant?"

Yes, I'm throwing up every day, tired as anything, sore breasts and I've had 3 positive tests - don't worry, I'm sure I'm pregnant! The pregnancy tests at the doctors aren't much more sensitive than the ones we can take at home!

At least I'm not to the point of actually throwing up yet, just verrrrrry sick feeling

And I don't know if it's just playing with my head now that I know I really am pregnant, but good gracious, I feel like I've been hit by a bus I am so tired!

Anyone have any new and exciting news!?
