I buy Scratch & Peck brand feed which comes in an unbleached double layer paper bag. I use them for sheet mulching/weed blocker in the garden as they break down easily.

I used my paper bags for that back when my feed came in them.

I use mine for trash bags in the kitchen. They fit right down in a tall kitchen trash can perfectly.

I fill them with chicken manure from the poop board. Put about 35-40# in a bag and sell it for .10/lb.

Great "re-cycling". What comes in the bag goes in the chicken - what comes out of the chicken goes in the bag! AND you get money for it!! Yay smart chicken person!

Hi!

My 4-H used these feed bags and sewed them to make tote bags. We sold them as a fundraiser for our 4-H fair and made a good deal of money selling them. The bags are incredibly durable and last a long time! Other than that, my family and I use them as trash bags.

During summer I gather the shavings from the chainsaw when we cut firewood and dry them fully on tarps in the sun, then I stuff feed bags with them for winterbedding refreshmant.
