Thorn Spurs was appalled. "Your father," she spat "-is the reason you are leader of Claw Flock!" With that, Thorn Spurs flew over Goldenfeather and pecked his saddle, pulling out several feathers.

Rose let out a squeaked of pain and flapped her wings to right herself. She grabbed River's wattle and pulled.

Cloud tried to watch the two roosters, but it was nearly impossible with her fluffy crest. "Are you scared?" She growled in the general direction of Cold.

Winter looked worriedly at Blizzard. She knew she couldn't stop him. "If you go, there will be no one to protect the camp, because I'll be going with you."

Fast let go of the bigger rooster's wattles and stood near his sister, Tiny. "Be careful, he's probably fought for way longer than us." He whispered to Tiny. Tiny nodded and circled to the right. Fast circled to the left, then both of them flew at Shadowfoot

Rose finally decided she had enough. She glared at Silverwing and River then limped into the undergrowth.

Fast glared at Shadowfoot. "Why would you care?" He peeped angrily. Tiny, however, puffed out her chest. "I'm one month old!" She squeaked, sounding proud. Then Storm suddenly appeared and kicked her. "Hey!" She peeped and grabbed his gigantic white earlobe.

Blaze, who was running through the forest, suddenly stopped. What will Goldenfeather think if I run away now? He thought, then slowly turned around and raced back to the fight.
