Petal glared at her, "One missed foraging mission won't starve the flock. Anyway, how did you know I wouldn't have come back for it later?" She said, but then shut her beak as she realized it was Goldenfeather's turn to speak.

(Meadow is like 5 years old and he's 9 years...)

Meadow nodded, "Good, it looks like it'll be a hard winter this year. Already cold." She shivered.
Yes I know, but they go so well together! Plus he needs a mate to keep him in check.

Valor said "that reminds me I should probably go collect the leaves filled with berries." He hurried off.

"Wouldn't Petal be punished as well for continuing the fight with a flock-mate?" Fog recoiled, waiting for an answer.
Petal looked at her, not exactly glaring, more of a pokerface. "Maybe I shouldn't have..." She murmured to herself, mentally scolding herself for wanting to have 'fun'.

Goldenfeather lunged like lightning pinning her down his claws drawn the slightest of blood "HOW DARE YOU?!" he took a breath and a sly thought came to him "She is breathing heavy with terror. she has many more wounds than you. and when she ran with heavy foot steps meaning she had fear... of you. all this says you attacked!"

Fog gaped, struggling under his gripped, "She attacked me, if you looked," she gulped,"She acted irrationally as I did. Don't just pin the blame on me." a bit of sass singed in her voice.

Petal gently nudged her son. "Goldenfeather, no need to torture this poor hen. She's just confused, that's all." With the last words, Petal looked pointedly at Fog. She was only defending her because she wanted to make it seem as if she was innocent.

Amethyst watched the terror unfold before her. This was not what was supposed to happen in the flocks. They were supposed to be safe here. She was standing there, idle, wondering what she should do for her flock, to protect them from the monster called Goldenfeather. She realized that the best she could go foraging, so she did.
