(Blizzard, Winter, Rip, and Storm of Wing flock are preparing to attack Claw Flock without Thorn Spurs's permission. Fog of Claw flock is trying to get Fast and Valor in trouble for conspiring against Goldenfeather, even though she also wants to get rid of him.)

Physician flew up on top a of branch and crowed, oblivious to the abuse Golden Feather put on his flock. He always felt happy when he was crowing for fun.

Misty jumps up into the trees and roosts on a thick branch and sighs to herself "Grant you comin up?" She yells down "Yeah yeah I just found something worth wondering about, come down and see it" He calls back up. Misty mutters to herself and jumps down "What is it?" Grant looks at her with a golden feather in his beak. "This" he says muffled "A FEATHER" Misty yells. Grant spits out the feather "That means were not the only ones in this forest" Grant then motions his wing toward the open area filled with blood and feathers "And it looks like something serious went down."
