I hatched out three baby wood ducks and they are about two days old. They are all running around except two of them have either the umbilical cord or dried blood covering their vent. I'm not sure what to do and I don't want to lose them! Please help

following... Pics would be great
Are you sure it's covering their vents and not the navel? Can you post pics?

I'm gonna tag @WVduckchick as well, I might lose internet soon...

I don't know what a navel is but I can't find their vent, the two that have this issue are ones that couldn't absorb all their yolk sac because they kicked it open, they are all eating and drinking really good. I may have discovered the secret to raising wood ducks.

Vent should be right about here...
