Picked up our two babies this morning, I can’t even tell you how excited we are.

Hoping the last egg hatches so we can have our three amigos, but if not, we may go back and get a third next weekend.

The woman had 10 and it was so hard for me to not take all of them home. A pile of 10 day-old ducklings is pretty much irresistible! So incredibly sweet!

We did some good snuggling yesterday on the couch between our garden projects and rain showers yesterday (don’t worry, the babies were safe and warm inside while I worked out in the cold!)

On another note ... We are down to the last egg in the bator. This was the egg laid on 4/7.

I had originally planned on starting lockdown tomorrow (5/1) since the other eggs had been laid and sat on earlier than this one.

Should I delay lockdown to 5/3 since I believe the hatch will be 5/5 or 5/6?

Going to candle tonight to see if all looks well, I’m a bit nervous and pessimistic, but trying to keep an open and positive mind!

Oh no :( That one also appears to have an under-developed CAM. I'd say don't toss it yet, but it doesn't look good.

Are you hand turning or is it in an autoturner? If in an autoturner, I'd be adding a 180 degree turn by hand every day. If hand turning, it might not have been turned enough times a day.
