They are really lovely. I love your descriptions.To celebrate Bob's 10,000th page, I took photos of my first four birds in the social order enjoying some time in their foraging area.
#1 Annie - a calm flock leader who doesn't get involved in the petty squabbles of the others.

#2 Rema, a tough lady who is a Boss, but not a Bully. She will break up fights between the others and lays a beautiful dark brown egg.

#3 Isabella is a gentle hen who I expected to lose to "failure to thrive" as a chick. She was tiny and while the others had long lustrous feathers, she was still down covered and less than half their size. She has always been spunky though and has filled in very nicely.

#4 Bistro lays very pretty blueish eggs and is best pals with Annie, the flock leader which gives her special privileges. She really does not like to be touched, but trusts me to respect her no touching rule.
