Speaking of neighbors, the lady with her little dog (whom I sometimes had watched for her) she said that her dog has been sick for a few days now. I looked it over, and my conclusion is that it is on its way out! sick yes. Lethargic yes, barely eating or drinking. Sadly, that little dog is all she has. I’ll pay taxes later.

Lady F. is truly magnificent and I see that Gucci is doing her usual heart stopping pose in the background of the first two photos!

No very sick I did get to clinical Covid and strep throat likely - now made worse by my throwing up.

Gave up at work told coworker to take over.

Mum call 911 last night I was having issues with tight chest and just not well , just very unwell, hard to explain but I had her freaked out. The medics checked me out heart was good so they offered to take me in but I told them if I got worse I would call back.

Just miserable vicious sore throat with pain pouring out my ears (that’s how I discribe it), tight chest, can’t cough it’s pure agony.

Poor animals I did a drive by threw out feed and that was it. Mum is out doing chores now.

Please take care of yourself. This disease is not to be trifled with. We are praying for you.

It looks like Gucci is practically glued to Lady F!

She is looking so regal with her speckles! Like little pearls draped all over!

In general the three of them are always together. Glynda moves them about by venturing ahead but the other 2 always catch back up to her.

I was wondering today if Lady Featherington would venture very far without Glynda pulling her along. Sometimes I think her and Gucci would prefer to just lay under the tree. Glynda will have none of that. There is too much to see and do.

Poor Jessica got roused out of the coop by Hector. Cheetah came to her rescue...then the 2 Brat Idiots went for her...simultaneously....then he went over to the rock garden where the rest of the ladies were. The Idiots piled on her again and Hector came to her rescue to the point of staying between her and them while she ran to Cheetah. The pair split around Hector and went for her again. She went to ground between the rocks, under the mint laying in the space (pic for reference, not from this morning)View attachment 3236315
The idiots tried to get her out as they couldn't fit in with her. I finallybwent over, shooed them off, and pulled her out. Then I packed her back to the coop, while she cuddled into me. Left her inside eating from the dish on top of the nest boxes with all of Hector's girls. At this rate, Cheetah will lose her to Hector as Hector is doing a better job of keeping the Idiots at bay. She hasn't decided that yet, though. No one was successful with her today, although Hector was closest. Kren needs to give up his obsession with her.

I'm so glad you were there to help her. How much longer are these boys going to be this crazy? My gosh the poor hens. You need Ned to come over and slap them around!

I used to know a family of foxes they would look too actually ask for food.

It is sad as you can't trust them with chickens if only they could be trained and fed somehow

They are just fancy dogs you know. I supposed you could.

That's why you might need help and an IV or two. They can do that in the ED without admitting you.
