Well done with the pumpkin. For the 3rd year in a row mine are still terrified of a pumpkin. I love Oreo and his dino feet. Perfect description for them as Marans, and mixes have huge feet. His copper is really starting to come in, it wont be long and he will be even more stunning.

I did not know, I honestly thought they were gone. The only reason I acted quickly and tried is because they were not stiff. I found them just in time I think considering how long it took to revive them.

Yummo! When I was a teenager, we often did sushi nights at home. My brother was charged with rolling the maki. We still have the occasional sushi feed at my parents’ house to this day! Love it!I rolled my own sushi today! Yum
The chooks got some rice, avocado and cucumber. I used up all the crabI had. I also had salmon

You don’t use seaweed? I’d love to see a photo of your sushi rolls! The fancy ones at our favorite sushi restaurants sometimes don’t have seaweed.I don’t use seaweed in my sushi, I roll it very carefully. (There’s plenty of leftovers for the chooks tomorrow)
Hi, Kelly. There was a huge rat in the coop and run the other night when I got home after dark and I had my dog chase it out of there.
