That is gorgeous! But your experience is really unacceptable. I am with Bob - file a suit against them for harassment and hostile work environment.
I am not an expert on Canadian employment law - but that sounds like something called constructive dismissal to me - that means they made your life so unbearable you had to quit. It is against the law in many, many, jurisdictions.
:goodpost:

@Ponypoor I 100% agree FILE A SUIT.

You been treated like dirt right through being ill if nothing else. That's criminal.

Keep all you have written and make the CEO aware of how this vile insult to human beings has completly abused you, your time and made your suffer dreadfully even as you have more than dedicated yourself too your work.

People like her should NEVER be in such a position only to be be ALLOWED too mistreat people in such a way. She shouldn't even breathe the same air

I really am upset for you this is absolutely disgusting. :hugs

Maggie - more than half a cat

Maggie left us today. I knew it would happen. I mean in general but also specifically today. She stopped chatting to me yesterday evening. She still acknowledged me but didn't chat for the first time. And I think I mentioned I think the other two had already said their goodbyes. They are very subdued today.

She died just after I came in for our early morning chat. It sounds silly, but I think she held on until I would accept it. Probably not, but it felt that way.

I have loved all my chickens but Maggie was special. She has been a real companion. She was always all attitude, and always in my face sharing her opinions.

She was just over three and a half years old, which feels like no age at all, but probably isn't too bad in her circumstances. They say cats have 9 lives. Maggie, by my count managed to have five lives. She survived (in order):
- A fox attack
- Hardware disease (two screws and some shards of metal)
- A lash egg (serious internal infection)
- Some neurological event where she lost her balance
- Another lash egg

I will miss her terribly. I will miss her attitude and her company. And I will miss the soft leathery feel of her comb and wattles as she burrowed into my hand for treats. I will miss her energy, her endless nosiness, and how she insisted on killing the water before she drank it (you never know!). I miss her independent spririt that often had her wander off quite far for solo walks (sometimes I followed at a respectful distance to ensure her safety).

I hope you will all bear with me if over the next few days I feel moved to share pictures of her.

So long my friend. I hope you find a sun that never sets, unlimited muddy puddles, and the opportunity to freely express your opinions.

Maggie - all attitude....

This news has filled my eyes up. I'm so sad for you :hugs:hugs:hugs

What a character she must have been and how happy she must have felt too live with you and her friends as she did

So 2 questions/thoughts

¿What good is having Healthcare if you can't get meds to help with your condition? That's like.....

Well Captain Smith, the iceberg tore a huge hole in the ship but you don't have coverage for lifeboats. Best of luck to you.

¿Your coverage stops immediately? Here you at least have coverage through the end of the month. You should have already paid for this full month. ¿Are they going to credit a week back to you?
They should compensate her as well as back pay. It sounds to me like she was doing a few jobs while the other rode her back.

If the above pictures look questionable, it is because mom was playing with her. Butter was sunbathing in the sawdust. Mom decided to see just how far she would let her go if she started putting sawdust on her. She stayed like this for almost half a hour.

Gracie was confused and concerned.

Butter looks as if she is in sheer bliss 😊

What cuteness her and that handsome dog.

“Kelly, you should have called me. I may be small, but I have a big painful bite. And I can smell out a lousy business associate from miles away!”
“Before daddy took me from that awful home to where I live now, they called me (The Butcher)!” View attachment 3301261
Jaffa would make that nasty mare shake in her stinking boots

Yep - I may talk with my BILs lawyer about this. It's harder here to do that sort of thing. But seeing as how I have ranted about this to you and Kris for all summer I can prove I have been tracking it...

:barnie

BTW - love that fluffy butt and the spots, she has an awesome tail :love
This has all been documented, all you have to do is send it to the CEO by registered mail first class and signed for

I have no words for all of this. Just: :hugs :hugs :hugs

I think @BY Bob is correct. No ne else should have to suffer through this, too....and you shouldn't have to pay twice (with health during, and health after) because of her. Please have a convo with BIL's lawyer.

Um, good to be free-er. But can't we go 'out-out'????? My feathers are starting to look tatty, (thanks, Mr Roo!) so I don't like seeing myself in that huge mirror you put in the middle of our home!!
