Put new straw in the run and got feed and seed snacks. Cleaned the nesting boxes. Hurt my lower back lifting 40lb. chicken feed its funny and hurts at the same time. Meanwhile the chooks are tearing up the run because they love to play in new straw.

I wonder what the Roo weighs? I haven’t weighed him, will do that tonight when he is roosting and quiet. I gave up on trying to tame him, he would get so upset and gasp for breath - making me feel horrible (not to mention Marty wanting to tear one of my arms off and peck my eyes out!).

I think little Marty is hilarious !

That seems beefy for a silkie. That's bigger than Phyllis!

So Fluffy and Henny are both at 1.7kg which is 3.7lbs. I didn’t think my chickens were very big, but maybe they are!

They must be Standard size silkies:

I was shocked when I gave them purple cabbage and got lime green poo out of them. I thought they were all dying. Instead they were "dye'ing".

Good one! We seem to have a colour theme going on here today!
