Give it time. You don't want them to lay early, be machine layers, then up and quit at 1.5 - 2 years of age. It is hard waiting, but give them time

Alex, how are you feeling now?

Well, folks, I am VERY sad to report Lucky is definitely not feeling well. I tried twice today to drain her to no avail. Since she only has symptoms when she has laying hormones, I’d say she is a definite candidate for suprelorin. However, after learning Ruby probably battled cancer for three years and lived because I treated her, I’m not super motivated to try to prolong Lucky’s life. I suppose a round of antibiiotics and anti-inflammatories are worth a shot, but the red of her comb has already turned to a slightly cooler, but still vibrant red. I know that is not a good sogn, having been through it three times already. I admit it… I am SO SAD.

Flo’s molt was like that this year. Thankfully, her feathers are coming in now that nights are cold.

I’m actually feeling pretty good lately. But I’m still angry at you about bringing those 2 mosquitoes on that ark!

Hmm. If you still have emojis then I am not sure. I know the site has been misbehaving over the last 2 days - someone alerted the mods to it being slow and I think someone else had this double quote issue.

I noticed it was very slow yesterday, when all the other sites I was on were behaving normally.
