I already called insurance (Monday morning first thing) and have a claim number.
I am documenting everything with photos.
We will see. Even if they just pay a bit of it that would be helpful - I don't have a choice but to fix it so I will go ahead anyway.

That’s good. If you have wet carpet or anything like that they may also pay to have it dried out/steam cleaned. You
may want to call back with your claim number to confirm what they will cover, and ask what kind of documentation/receipts/etc they want.
