Oh the guilt is wicked hard to handleIm disappointed in myself. I have had chickens through worse weather and never had this problem. Daisy, the greatest hen ever, never had frostbite and she went through -20°F weather once.

I don't think I've seen 2 that are the same yet.....that's a big part of why people like them so much....and the personalities are just as varied as the birds themselves.There isn't much difference between Americauna, Ameracauna, and Easter Egger. Olive Egger is a mix of one of the Blue egg layers crossed with a brown egg layer (genetically speaking). There isn't a breed standard for any of the above, so the Breed names get used all over the place.
