Of course she could have.I got an olive green egg yesterday I think was from Dottie its size is in between the other 2 eggs. Do you think she could have laid this since she was checking out the nesting boxes the dya before? I think so and Hades jumped her this morning.

I think the roosting situation will resolve itself on it's own. I've found younger chickens have the advantage of being very light and tend to see height as safety, and then grow out of it as they morph into adults.
I didn't see if you said how old they are by the way ?
