I'm feeling so grateful that I've never taken the step of crating a broody hen! When the Aurora finds Amazon and tells her followers, the hens at my house might decide to not crate me

This is concerning...

Pennsylvania's state veterinarian is recommending that all poultry be maintained indoors to help prevent the spread of the avian flu.

Yes - we have been under that advisory since last Spring... very worrying. I told mum to not feed the wild birds at the house, to prevent them from congregating together.

Back in the Spring I kept them inside for a whole month, when I did let them out I was a mess worrying about them. I would chase the wild birds away!

Oh no - be careful - I have seen on the News that California is really getting hit hard by rain and flooding. It's crazy weather everywhere it seems.

[Grandma The Chicken]

Good morning FBA! Since today is 53 F and rainy, I decided not to wear a coat that makes me look like a blue marshmallow.
Remember when I said about Grandma getting jealous in the house because of the cat and started crying her microscopic eyes out? Well, here is an ACTUAL photo of when it happened. Also, update on the cat, she doesn't want to eat. My mom thinks she might be sick but we don't really know.

Grandma couldn't keep still so she washes the laundry. Those are chemicals, Grandma! At least she's helping out around the house.
