Here is how their first day out of the coop went. I opened the door and she had zero interest in bringing them out. So, I bribed them as you can see. She was still super wary and any time anything walked by she took them back inside. It was a long process today with many trips in and out. The first 2 video's as you can see they barely get outside the coop. The last 2 they ventured almost to the creek bank. It was only a few minutes after the final video that the fiasco of running into Louis's stall happened.
Such lovely little leghorns. Not nearly enough videos and pictures.

Just saying! 😁

I need to join in the Rodent Wars… sigh

You really need a cat. A good mouser like this lady.

I went through this as well. It felt super tight almost like it was cutting in (it wasn’t but felt that way) I was so very miserable and I dealt with it for days. Finally, I called my surgeons office and they said as long as I was not moving around I could loosen the splint! The relief was oh so amazing. Now, I am in no way saying for sure your situation is the same but please do call and ask because it’s quite possible it could be. Don't just sit with it like I did for days on end. Ortho surgery is tough :hugs
The splint actually isn’t that tight. I have enough slack to wiggle my calf/ankle/foot a little. I think mainly I have enough feeling back to “feel” the bruises and sore parts more. The wrap is so well done, especially over the padding at the edges, that I really don’t want to mess it up unless I can tell it is getting too tight. Been there done that in the past and regretted it. It’s just hard to get comfortable after two weeks in my recliner.

Are you OK, Bob?
A little cabin fever. It can happen here in the winter time. I need to get away from this house. I have been no place else since Christmas. It is important in the winter for us to do things outside the house and I have ignored that.

I realize that now and I'm making steps to correct it.

Oh, good! Please do. 😊
