Well she was lead hen and she didn't take kindly to some young punk coming in and taking what he wants. LOL
I get that problem a lot here.:D
I've got a young cockerel here now in Tribe 2 trying to jump on anything that looks remotely female. He jumped on the back of Mag while he was eating the other night and Mag chased him right down to the donkey shed.:lau He was not impressed.

Sounds just like Stanley, at first, he is becoming much gentler in his relationships. It helps that he's the only roo in the flock now.

Why bother. There is nothing you can do about it either way.
Inquiring minds wish to know. But not, of course, until and unless Sydney abandons the egg.

I've seen people mention egg autopsies on BYC to see why an egg didn't hatch. I think all knowledge is valuable.

It's a bit early for that yet of course. Hopefully egg 3 is just a late bloomer.:fl

Problem Solved

I removed the board, 1 screw. Sydney was fine with me doing that. New setup.

100% Hatch Rate

Hey there, @CrazyChookChookLady , Stanley fought his way past Goldie's defense. The third egg hatched! Sydney has them out and about. Watch the video closely and you can see the third chick staying under her. :love Oh my gosh I can't stand it! So special!
