Yes, but I need one because I still have snow, right? So I need a rug to wipe my boots on but mud comes off in the process because I have snowbanks all around but right in front of the door there is MUD MUD MUDDDDDDD WHICH I HATE
Well I would say snow is better than mud, but both are miserable if you ask me!!

Yes - that is the study I found too - their dosing was also IM.
I found two other studies - one used 10mg/kg orally in geese, and one looking for LD50 in chicks but that was also IM.
It seems like consensus of studies on dosing is 10mg/kg and it seems the safety margin is reasonably broad so safe to use that dosing even in a home setting with inevitable inaccuracies in weight and volume measurements.
I think I would go with the 10mg/kg dose and achieve that by diluting the kids oral stuff using a 1ml syringe.
I would agree with this. It makes sense. However, I would not use acetaminophen as a long term analgesic to be on the safe side. I would use aspirin or ibuprofen. For short term battling an injury I think this would be safe without the risk of bleeding.

The new digs…

And it looks like they are not overly thrilled.

Sophia tried to fly up onto the sliding track of the screen door. Fluffy decided that a nest box was the safest spot!

And everyone now all piled at the one end! Except for Curly who has the whole area for herself! Fluffy can be seen to m the nest box 😳

Went the chicks start roosting, you may want/need to expand roost space. I've found the adults don't let the babes roost close once mama has turned them loose.. until the babes start laying. Then it's OK for them to snuggle in with the younger crew.:idunno
