SO much wind. My car could drive over a snowdrift. What about wind? We've got plenty. The chickens want out right now. They're going to have to wait.

Yes a cockerel - he was very pretty, but there were many of them so they had to go...Is it a cockerel? He is very cute or she is very cute! (Looks like a cockerel though...)
Can you put up 2 strands of electric around your coops for the night time security? They usually don't come around during the daytime if people are about.I know, but it is hard. I want it gone and gone now. I really want it gone before the chicks start hatching. 21 days is this Monday. Realistically I could expect chicks as early as Saturday morning.
Good luck!Where do you take piano lessons? I used to live in Ontario, but moved to Alberta. In Ontario there is a place called Royal Conservatory of Music. I took piano lessons there. When I moved to Alberta, I took music lessons over Zoom.
What I mean is that they have a level of grading where when you start, you are at something below Level 1. They test you, then you move on to Level 1. The exams aren't mandatory until Level 7. So my piano teacher moved me from 5 to 6 without the exam. But I need to do the exam before Level 7. The exam is THIS FRIDAY...![]()
Your getting there! My chickens hate the wind, but hate being in more, they just try not to go broad-side to the wind and get knocked over (esp those Silkies - toooooo hilarious those wee ladies!).
The wind over here gets nasty sometimes. I like taking my drone out for a spin, but this wind is too much for it. It's calm, and then it comes all of a sudden. Like Winter from Vivaldi's Four Seasons.SO much wind. My car could drive over a snowdrift.
I really want Silkies. How smart are they?Your getting there! My chickens hate the wind, but hate being in more, they just try not to go broad-side to the wind and get knocked over (esp those Silkies - toooooo hilarious those wee ladies!).
I think Glynda is a legbar she does lay blue eggsI really want Silkies. How smart are they?
The wind almost blew Agathae over once. She is a Cream Legbar and the smallest chicken we have. @BY Bob should get one to satisfy his colored egg needs. They lay guaranteed blue eggs.
Well as smart as any chicken, but they need their topknot trimmed so they can see. And they can't fly at all - mine thought they could, and would launch themselves off 5' high roostsI really want Silkies. How smart are they?
