That is adorable.I just checked the camera that looks to the main roost to make sure Bernie and Babs were roosting OK.
What I saw instead took me by surprise.

Basically the littles have all lined up on a roost opposite the bigs. I wonder if they will stay there all night. Probably not - but it is cute!
I see what you did there.Texas storm.
We now have some rain coming in, along with thunder and wind. I hope I am not stealing anyone's thunder here.
Sure. Give me a bit. They don't change much. Just get bigger.Thank youDo you by chance have any baby/ tween pictures of LF you would be willing to repost? I would love to see the transformation if you have time to do so.
Abigail was furious. The thunder was distracting me from her. It was stealing her thunder!I see what you did there.![]()
Brownie seemed indifferent about which eggs she was sitting on or where she did it. Ceramic, real eggs it didn’t matter so long as they were eggish shaped she was gonna try and hatch them. I moved her several times, switched out eggs almost daily and she was completely unfazed.I am doing a beak check before bed. Somehow counting to five is harder than it seems when the littles are all racing around.
Then I do a last minute check on Eli and am totally confused.
After some early back and forth she had been nested on the top level with the golf ball and the ceramic egg.
Now she has moved to the lower level where there is a single ceramic egg which I had left there because it seemed to help Bernadette decide where to lay.
Did Eli just get confused? Maybe she rumbled that the golf ball wasn't viable?
Please tell me she isn't going to start the whole 21 day thing again from the start!
I removed the golf ball and the ceramic egg from the top level - do you think that was the right thing to do? Should I give her the golf ball back in her lower nest (that can't be right!).
In the morning I anticipate Babs will squeeze in with Eli and lay in the same box. I doubt Bernie will lay tomorrow so that is a problem for another day.
Any advice most welcome.
I also cannot fathom how some of you deal with multiple of these crazy ladies at the same time!
