They're doing fine. I think Agathae was stressed. My siblings keep handling her and nobody cares to stop them. I cannot stop them either. Abigail is doing well. I think it is the heat. She only honked a few times today.
Maybe explain to them and your mum how they are stressing the hen.

It's been a while since I've been here but now that I'm back, here are a few chicken photos.
I wanted to get a photo of Grandma drinking water for Thirsty Thursday, but by the time I grabbed the camera, she finished drinking and was already in the coop.
What is that leg, Tony?

Hey Grandma how are you? Hope you are doing well.

Pooped, and my back is aching now, riding on a bumpy lawn tractor for 2.5 hrs is hard on the body.

But I managed to sit on n my butt for and hr and enjoy the nicer weather today afterwards. The chooks were happy that I cut the grass they can see the bugs better 😊

And Martina was running around with her siblings practicing their escape antics, they can just fit through the holes in that electric netting I have (no it’s not powered).

Martina is rocking that hair style. I am not biased because she is a Marty chick...really, I am not. She has to be one of the prettiest and unique looking I've seen in a while.

She reminds me of a robin, and she is a brat! She and her siblings were out in the paddock, had me freaking out I couldn’t find them, they can squeeze through the squares in the netting, and then take off running across the paddock - brats!

She has a bald spot in the middle of her topknot, have you seen this before?

Expedition today down to more promising digging near the old well, it's been so dry here, but still damp down there.

Peanut, Butters and Hazel. That's a clump of narcissus blooming near them, and ajuga in the grass about to bloom.

Peanut. She swiped those leaves twice, maybe hoping something might fall or run out of it?

I have a narcissus who goes to my church. He’s kinda introverted and rude sometimes! :old Yes, he’s very narcissistic!

I have. Time and time again. I'm just an idiot to be ignored. If I say it I'm wrong. And if my parents fix it they have countless excuses. "Oh, I'm feeding her a treat" or "oh, I'm taking her to the super green grass". I have taken it upon myself to yell at any idiot, um, sibling who dares to bother the chickens.
I can get my Mom to listen. But she is very busy and has no time for my nonsense. And my Dad just says "they know it already". Not the way you fix things.
I've just given up on a lot of things because of this.
Well maybe you can educate your siblings, show them how their comb is blue and explain why.

Never seen a bald spot before, but remember, limited experience with silkies. None with polish which is where I think they are getting their hair-do's from. Of course she is a brat, look who her momma is. I am so happy we get to see a chick from the power couple Marty and Mr. P. She is living up to her expectations. Trouble maker with a capital T.
