I’m thinking of changing the name of my coop. Due to all of the new guests coming lately. “Cluckingham Castle Resort” is no longer appropriate. I should call it “The Chick-Inn”! :idunno
You know I've been thinking on this. That momma feels safe in your yard. I know it goes against bio-security practices, but I would personally have a hard time turning that momma away. She is doing what she can to feed her chicks. I have a feeling she is getting NO help at your neighbors or else she would not be straying. At least she is taking them home at night, I do not know what I would do if she decided to spend the night in your coop.

Heading home today, got my butt kicked but I finished the job. No cats but here's our youngest pups. Chester and Estrella.

DANG I didn't get a picture of El Morya yesterday. I will try for today. I have lots of tax to pay so I will have to get lots of pictures. A problem though I am cleaning out the rabbit hutch today so how are you going to get away without an adorable bunny picture?

I got a new rabbit, he's a lop, and I've always wanted a lop. He's white with blue eyes, and those nice floppy ears. I'll get a picture of him later, his name is Alpha.

You know what happens when you invite random strangers over. If they like it then they stay. I’m not running a food bank here in my yard. (I do that next Tuesday)!
I invited the mama and her eleven kids back under the fence to their own backyard, after I fed them.

You all are now aware of my neighborhood cat problem. There are 2 that have been pulling at my mom's heart and have taken to living in our hay area. Mom has decided she is going to find them a home so started trying to tame them. 1 is super friendly now, the other is getting there. I see where this is going with 1. I give it a month, and it will be inside, just wait. There is a huge problem though, both are girls, and while small both look to be at the age if they are not pregnant now, will be very soon. Since it is caturday I snapped a few pictures. Yup she is feeding them now as well. I am just waiting to hear she has named them. It is coming, especially since she saw the short haired one kill a mouse.
Mom's favorite who she is determined needs a good home.

But that didn’t stop them. They came right back to my side of the fence. :idunno
I don’t understand it. I buried the holes, blocked off the access, but they still came. I’m sitting outside, mama hen is creeping closer! image.jpg

I know what I would do.

Keep her of course! And she is a proven broody so if Mr J were to have liaison with her and hatch out Baby Js so much the better

😊❤️💕
