Yesterday, Chukki jumped up on my lap and I thought to myself,"What is that warm liquid running down my leg? Oh lovely, runny poop!!

Thirty seconds later, Beatrice jumped up and plop, dropped one on my shorts!! :gig

Sounds like you’re having fun with them ❤️

Okay, I feel bad for you people...
I have a really bad mite and lice situation in my flock. I have scaly mites, lice, and possible two other types if mites. I will try to get pictures (using my moms phone) tomorrow. I am going to buy a bunch of stuff to kill them. I did my research, but if anyone wants to throw what I need out there, I will take it.
Also, BBQ is doing just fine. Her foot looks a bit better already.

Dusting powder for your coop and run, no sense treating if they get reinfected.

Ivermectin to treat lice and mites. I bought the liquid stuff I give the horses, I can get it in a syringe for dosing one horse (liquid not paste), and then did the math for how much a chicken gets.

You will need to retreat in 14 days. And re-dust the coop and run.

You can do a search on BYC for dosing of ivermectin. Added benefit is your chooks get wormed.

There they are, in all their glory, Eenie's future babies. :fl

Got lucky and she was off the nest when we got there. We gave the others a little treat and locked them in the run, hoping she'd come out. I don't know if she was out already, but she was still darn happy to get the oats and peanut butter I mixed up to tempt her out. She didn't say much as I put the eggs in the nest, but I think she was enjoying some dinner and a lot of water. When we let the others back in she skedadled back to the nest.

She looked healthy enough I guess. She's always been my littlest lady, so I hope she does okay. Something odd...her head looked kind of wet. I took the best picture I could. Not sure what that white speck is. Could be dirt...She's not amenable to being caught and inspected.
