Mine hated the mist too. I tried to cool them down by misting the run...nope. They ran inside every time. Mist inside the coop...ran out.

I just run water from the hose onto the ground so the ground is wet, they dig around in that, cools their feet.

I think we'll candle tonight. If we have even one possible chick, we'll figure out how to separate her. If not...don't know what we'll do.

I just built a frame from some old scrap wood and put some chicken wire I had hanging around on it to make a “box” the others could get to them.

Actually I did have the water running from the hose earlier as I was waiting for the mister to be delivered. Guess I'll just be doing that and use the mister myself. This is the table they lay under.
