Thanks. It’s weird. I’m sad but it’s physically impossible to cry right now. When I saw the hawk overhead and only saw four guineas I started shaking. My entire body was trembling with fear, shock, and horror. Yet now I am just trying to ignore it. My mom keeps telling me that she might be in the bushes doing Guinea stuff. It’s about a 10 percent chance of that.

Did you actually see the hawk make a hot on the Guineas? Or just flying overhead. Either way I sure hope she is ok and ran and hid.

Hello everyone!
This morning we went to grammas house and harvested a big box of tomatoes! Canned my apple butter, and now I have chili simmering. Haven't gotten a chance to see the girlies today so I'll try to visit with them after dinner.

Yup. Still white eggs. We do get an occasional blue one like the sprayer started working again but the vast majority look like Phyllis' eggs.

Interesting, I am curious to see if my Azurs do that. Being a hybrid leghorn aricauna cross.

My amazing hubby is working on my run extension!


Adding a door, reinforcing, then we'll stain it and add hardware cloth and hinges/latches. Then we'll attach it to our coop and the girlies will have tons more room to play!
Definitely paying him in chili...
