It looks like her butt is being pecked. Can you separate her a couple days to let it start to heal if so?

I took my shrimp salad sandwich out to eat on the deck, (BIG mistake) I was attacked by seven crawfish craving chooks! Dakota knocked the sandwich from my plate and then they all came to eat my dinner. Brazen little feathered beast! Glad there’s more in the kitchen, or I might starve.

7 eggs today, would have had 8, but when I lifted Flopsy up to put in a nest box to ‘encourage’ her to lay her egg there, she plopped it out as I was carrying her, poor girl, I felt very badly for this, I am sure laying eggs is not an easy comfortable thing

Todays haul - Buttercup’s egg sure looks green beside those Azur Blue eggs.
