I was right. Sir Jaffar is asleep laying on my chest (a little snoring but that’s okay)
I’m hoping he doesn’t have any chicken-mares :eek::old
He’s safer right here than anywhere else on the planet!
I hope he is taking his Knighthood seriously and ensuring his squire is attending to his demands.

It’s times like these, when I realize that he’s a con man, all tough out there in the yard, but turns into a marshmallow when he’s in the house sleeping in!

Well Sue is supposed to be part of Hoovers coloured layer package - so I am not sure what she is, I will have to wait to see what colour egg she lays. But I love her mahogany colour, so rich and gorgeous.

Yes poor Sophia has I really bad, she always has a hard moult, but this is the latest she has done her moult. She isn’t a happy girl.

…and with blue being dominant then any pullet chicks he throws should have blue or at least green eggs.

And of course I love that barred pattern.
Whatever Sue is, she’s a stunner!

Don’t worry Sophia, you’re stunning, and you will be even more gorgeous once your feathers grow back!

Have you told him your boy is actually a wee little lady? 😊
I plan to today actually! I told him we'll be able to see the rooster feathers but I haven't actually had time to sit and give them the weekly once-over. I told him I had a suspicion that they were a girl though, but wanted to wait a week for those 14-week feathers to come in. I feel gross and sick today so I might go sit in the coop run and hang out with them for a while.

We've had some serious winds my way and yesterday it rained cats and dogs.

Princess was so depressed, I made sure she had s little time out between winds here. Then washed her feet again before bedtime
