My neighbor just had two chickens killed in her run. Decapitated, but the head was left next to the body. She didn't see any blood left.

I'm thinking raccoon...?
Oh no how sad! I had a weasel kill a couple bunnies like that. Gosh how did it get into it.

The resident predator keeper-awayer thinks it's too cold to go out at night now. :(

Their run is uncovered, so this could be a big problem. They're gone for 10 days, and another neighbor (her mom) is taking care of the chickens. But she can't be there all the time.
Any chance of putting up some temporary electric fencing? Keep whatever it is from climbing in.

No worries Mr. P we love you! 😍
Let’s think on this. From a hatchling to an adult chook, is how many months?🤔
That’s not too much chick support to pay, so come on dude kick down with the seed! And share your meally worm stash too! :old:tongue
Feathered creep doesn’t want to pay child support I guess?
Ya ya I know I quoted it out of order.

Mr P is working 3 jobs to pay for all his youngsters this year 😁

I gave her some chopped walnuts so I was forgiven for being nosy.

Ummmm, forgiven for being nosey???? Almost ALL chickens have sticky beaks - why not their servants, too???

Bernie has also ditched the feather I wanted to pull out and is following Babs around. I think Babs may have special grub detection skills as she always seems to be the one that finds juicy wriggly things.

Well, Babs is 1/2 DC - they are closer to wild things than the average chicken - so she just may have a bit of 'juicy, wriggly things' radar!!

Oooooh, Jessica looks good on 'Hector's Arm" They are gorgeous together!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
